Wild quinine
Parthenium integrifolium L.
other common names: American feverfew, feverfew
Parthenium: from Greek parthenos, for “virgin,” referring to the infertile disk flowers. It is also the Greek name for another plant.
Integrifolium: from Latin, meaning “entire-leaved”
Daisy family: Asteraceae (Compositae)
