Dalea enneandra Nutt.
other common names: bigtop dalea, plume dalea, slender parosela, nine-anther prairie clover, bigtop prairie clover
Dalea: once called Parosela; renamed after Samuel Dale, an early English botanist
Enneandra: from Latin, meaning “with nine stamens”
Legume family: Fabaceae (Leguminosae)
